THE MUSICAL JOURNEY BEGINS

In the Master Key program it is soon recognized and acknowledged that watching TV – especially, too much of it – is contraindicated if we are ever to achieve our definite major purpose in life. It is a small sacrifice for such a gigantic reward. In my home, for instance, the past 6 months have seen me breaking my self-imposed abstinence for two programs.  “The Voice” was one of them.

This year, the fellow you just watched is named Jordan Smith.  He won Season 9 of “The Voice.” To put it simply, he is one of the best, if not the best, singer I have ever heard. Do you think Adam Levine agrees? Although there was never a doubt really in terms of who was ultimately going to win “The Voice” this year, it was unquestionably one of the best assemblages of singing talent I’ve seen – this includes many years of watching American Idol and the X factor, in addition to The Voice. In fact, the day after the top 10 performed on “The Voice,” 9 of them finished in the top 10 on iTunes. The only one who didn’t make it that high was rated #13 – and Jordan Smith knocked Adele out of the top spot.

Just to give you another taste of the talent that was on hand, here is Madi Davis’ vocal interpretation of “Songbird.”

Pentatonix

Then, as it turns out, Oh Happy Day!!, I just happened to click on one of the selections available in the right sidebar amidst other Jordan Smith performances listed there. My click was compelled by the number of YouTube views this stray lamb in the field named Jordan had had – upwards of 50 million, as I recall. I had, otherwise, never heard of this five-person group before. They call themselves Pentatonics.” One of the songs Jordan Smith performed on “The Voice” is called “Mary, Did You Know?” This is Pentatonics rendition of that.

I have a hunch you now have some insight regarding why this video has clocked 50 million views, and why I think you’ll agree they are exceptional. So, I listened to a few other songs they have recorded and made available on YouTube, and then…WOW! When what to my wondering eyes did I see? When what to my wondering ears did I hear, another performer I was totally unfamiliar and clueless: THE DANCING VIOLINIST — LINDSAY STIRLING

LINDSAY STIRLING

I saw her first do her thing, during Pentatonic’s recording of “Radioactive.”

Although “Radioactive” is not one of my all-time favorite tunes, it is the way I discovered this fabulous talent. If you remember the slogan, “I bet you can’t eat just one!” I think the same challenge applies when given the opportunity to click on other things that Lindsay Stirling has done.

I know. This YouTube adventure involving two of our five senses (three if you count scrolling and clicking) may not seem to be moving our life’s purpose forward very far – unless, of course, we ascribe to the belief that variety helps keep the balance, that musical entertainment can be included in that “variety,” and to same degree agree with the opening statement of the three statements comprising the Preamble of what’s called the fundamental natural law of protection: The Prime Law. That statement is:

“The purpose of human life is the prosper and live happily.”

This law is so powerful, as it waits “FOR ITS TIME TO COME,” lets take a short break to consider it:

THE PRIME LAW ®

(The fundamental natural law of protection)

PREAMBLE

The purpose of human life is to prosper and live happily.

The function of government is to provide the conditions that let individuals fulfill that purpose.

THE PRIME LAW guarantees those conditions by forbidding the use of initiatory force, fraud, or coercion by any person or group against any individual, property, or contract.

ARTICLE ONE

No person, group of persons, or government, shall initiate force, threat of force, or fraud, against any individual’s self, property, or contract.

ARTICLE TWO

Force is morally and legally justified only for protection from those who violate Article One.

ARTICLE THREE

No exceptions shall exist for Articles One and Two.

*The Prime Law is the fundamental, natural law of protection (that directs all decisions and actions of the Twelve Visions Party) and is not open to amendment or change.

Are you still with me, guys and gals? We are just about to reach the plateau of this week’s sensorineural exploratory hunt on the lookout for new talent – brought to you by #MKE#There Is Nothing Like It!

A few days ago, I got a message from the head honcho of the Neothink Society, Mark Hamilton. His daughter, Manika, had just recorded a new song, This is the request he sent to all the members of the Neothink Society…

MANIKA

“Hello this is Mark Hamilton, author of your Neothink Manuscripts.

My daughter is recording artist Manika.  Today I would like to ask you a personal favor.  Please listen to the iTunes sample of Manika’s latest song, and if you like it please download it from iTunes.  It is only 99 cents.  Here is the link: http://hyperurl.co/ManikaHowCanILove   (If that brings you to iTunes Preview, just click on “View In iTunes”, or open your iTunes Store and search: How Can I Love Manika)

Your download will go a long way toward helping Manika’s presence in the music industry.  (Music execs and radio promoters look at number of downloads closely.)  Believe me, she has a long-term Neothink plan in the music and entertainment world and needs our support.

As I said, I believe you will enjoy this song that deals with a young adult’s struggle with self-esteem and the capacity to love.  She plans to gradually bring the younger generation into our Neothink world.

I hope you support her efforts by downloading her song.  Thank you!

Sincerely,

Mark

I didn’t know what to expect prior to listening to Manika – heck, I didn’t even know Mark had a daughter – however, I’m glad he shared her talent with me. Since I can now share it with you.

As it turns out, one of my very best friends, Jerry, that very same day had sent me this:

Fwd: Ryan Fagundes sent you a video: “NOT THE FUTURE” — Extended Lyric Video”

Did you notice that this is a second example of someone I know and care about “coincidentally” sending me a musical production I had never seen and/or heard before coming from one of his children? It’s not a daughter, this time. This came from Ryan, the younger of Jerry’s two sons. Don’t you think it’s GOOD? I was impressed enough that I soon found myself listening to another of the “Bad Lip Reading” Star Wars Interpretations. You might just find yourself doing the same.

This is where I had planned to end this week’s post, when another serendipitous event presented itself in my inbox. In other words, I just noticed a fellow panel member on the Thursday NEOTHINK super puzzle call, Carolyn, had just sent me a Valentines Day message from one of my favorite purveyors of the way things really are, Mike Adams, the Health Ranger. He had just recorded a new original. I’ve known for some time that Mike played guitar for recreation, but I had no idea this particular pursuit had reached the level of video production – and, apparently, this is not his first. It’s #16! But first:

Health Ranger Profile and History

Mike Adams, the “Health Ranger,” is an outspoken consumer health advocate, award-winning investigative journalist, internet activist and science lab director.

He is the founder and editor of NaturalNews.com, the internet’s most-trafficked natural health news website. He is also the creator of CounterThink.com, FoodInvestigations.com,HealingFoodReference.com, HonestFoodGuide.org and several other websites covering natural health topics.

Adams is a prolific writer and has been called “the best health and natural products writer on the scene today.” (by Ronnie Cummins, founder, Organic Consumers Association)

Adams has received accolades and testimonials from several key influencers in the natural health space, including Dr. Michael T. Murray and raw food pioneer David Wolfe.

Mike Adams is widely recognized as having a strong technical aptitude that has allowed his websites to achieve very high degrees of success on the internet. He is also widely known to be a highly influential…

In terms of production quality, etc., etc., Mike’s creation needs a little work; and the points he makes in his video may be a bit too alternative to suit the taste of the average person. Nevertheless, I’m taking the risk to include it. Heck if you made it this far — past the Prime Law and everything else — why not. Careful though. The next time you look in a mirror, you may not recognize the person staring back at you! LOL

Until next time, I would like to leave you with an expression found to have great value in instantly derailing/have a calming effect should we ever find ourselves unexpectedly thrown into a situation where some of the parties involved are on the verge of erupting into some sort of adversarial conflict. My good friend and fellow mentor on the Wednesday, 3000-YEAR-OLD SECRET call, Michael, shared it with me.

HO OPONO NO, which means, I’m sorry, please forgive me, thank you, I love you…and, yes, I do.
