THE MASTER KEY METROPOLIS

THE PRIME LAW AND HOW TO LIVE IT

THE HISTORIC #MKE BLOG ROVER LAUNCH — THE FALL OF 2016

Sorry, new members and guests. This return to a time gone by is intended primarily for #MasterKeyExperience (#MKE) blog rovers, guides, and staff. However, even for the uninitiated, such as it is, there should be enough of an MKE flavor lingering and left to taste and savor what this six-month, life-changing program is like. The realization is always the same: there’s #nothinglikeit!!!

Since now is the time to enroll in #MKE, I whole-heartedly suggest you do so right away by clicking here. If you want more info regarding this wondrous possibility, I suggest you head straight over to my MasterMind partner, John’s, blog post that so thoroughly describes what you have to look forward to.

Before embarking on this journey back in time, I’m letting you know there were four original blog rovers. Of these, Julia Standish and yours truly are the only two remaining on active duty. Paul Zadel hung on for one additional year, while Caryn Kehrley took off in search of some different kind of booty.

Unfortunately, the exact timeline of this post that I wrote and left in my head is a bit skechy now, Although what was written would’ve been lighter in ink from a pen rather than from a pencil filled with lead, it would’ve been more indelible and less associated with memory loss, which is the same as being erased — which is really a good thing considering it was a red pencil, no less. Nevertheless, I think Paul’s blog was published a few days before mine. That said, with a few recent modifications, this is what I wrote:

MKMMA — WEEK 1 — WHEN THINGS ARE GETTING DIFFICULT TO BARE, TIME TO LISTEN TO ZADEL…AND ONE OF THE GREATEST YOGIS: YOGI BERRA!

DID YOU KNOW…

THE MASTER KEY MASTERMIND ALLIANCE can take you far – as far as your imagination is able; so far, in fact, for many the telling of it could be a childhood fable!

My name is Loren; however, you can call me Lorenzo — or Ponzo — or Pete — any of those is equally sweet! Just don’t call me too late for dinner and/or Sue. That name was already explored in great detail by Johnny Cash; and as you may recall for us guys, it’s better off left in the trash!

Whatever I’m called this is my second year serving as a Cerified Guide for the Master Key Mastermind Alliance (MKMMA), aka Master Key Experience (MKE).

Each year the MKE program grows larger; so this year, the staff decided to add a new guide position. The position is called “BLOG ROVER.” There are four of us. Besides myself, there is Julia Standish, Caryn Kehrly, and Paul Zadel.

Having already come together for our initial mastermind session, I can make a decree and a confession:The decree: my three compatriots are so on top of this brand spanking new responsibility, I have no doubt they are going to hit it so far out of the park, you”ll swear it must be Mickey Mantle himself, who tore into the old horsehide and sent it flying!

If I knew I was going to live this long, I’d have taken better care of myself.

Mickey Mantle
Little Mickey?

The confession; I, too, am at the same ball park. However, in order to minimize the damage, they’ve taken me off the field, stripped me of my uniform, and put me to work at the hot dog concession.

Not one to complain, I’ve decided to put a fitting spin to the end of this “oggy doggie” story. Recall the last name of one of my three “ROVER” pals mentioned above, it rhymes with Adele, and as for “tweeners” (in baseball these are balls hit safely into the gap between center field and left field, and between center field and right field), think Mays and Mantle. In this case, they are my “HELLO/Goodbye!” connectors that take us to the reason for the title of this blog post, where you’ll discover the reason why.

First, “HELLO!”

Now, “Goodbye!” (as in SF Giant’s baseball announcer’s, Lon Simmons, filled with sudden excitement and finishing description of each and every one of #24’s, the “Say Hey Kid’s” — Willie Mays’ — 600+ homers, “YOU CAN TELL IT GOODBYE”) — which also applies to me — for now!

And now the reason why I entitled this post as I did. As I already alluded, it was written by fellow rover, Paul Zadel, a bit before I wrote mine:

Week 1- Déjà vu All Over Again

We lost a great man in September with the passing of Yogi Berra. The legendary Yankee catcher was known not only to baseball fans, but to all who remember his funny and infamous sayings like, “It ain’t over ‘til it’s over,” or “When you come to a fork in the road, take it.” I thought of Yogi at the start of this Master Key Experience. Last year I was new and found the course a real challenge. This year would be different; it would be easier.  After all, I’d read all the material and done the exercises. This year, as a guide, I am privileged to work with some incredible members who, like me, want to change their lives. I was right about this year being different, but not exactly easier as I had imagined. When the DMPs started rolling in, I was knee deep in the process and thought of Yogi.  A new challenge,   “It’s like déjà vu all over again.”
He was a funny guy.  I wonder, would Haanel agree with Berra’s, “Baseball is 90% mental and the other half is physical?” How better could I have expressed the importance of specificity in smart goals than saying, “You’ve got to be very careful if you don’t know where you are going, because you might not get there?” Everybody knows practice makes perfect.  “In theory there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice there is.”

Yogi was a great champion, but we too are heroes heeding the call; taking the journey. Armed with our DMP, the exercises, Haanel, Mandino, and making our future self our new best friend; we are optimistic and rejoice in the knowing that now, finally, our lives will change for the better; or as Yogi said, “The future ain’t what it used to be.”
Thanks Yogi

I’m back to add…

People say Yogi (Berra) is a strange guy, and I’ve heard Yogi say some funny things. But he has a beautiful wife, he is rich, and he is famous. I don’t see anything strange about that.

We’re a week into the 2021-2022 launch of the #MasterKeyExperience/#MKE, LIFE-CHANGING program. That being the case, and with just a few days left to enroll, I’m thinking you might want to hear from the guy who, along with his wife, the Fabulous Davene, started it all…

This is what staff member, Day, has to say…

Do you know what success looks like?

I continue to find deep inspiration from several sources, but my friends from the Master Key Experience, who encourage me to stay true to the success formula, and keep sharing their own successes, well, that’s just pure magic for me. Take Michael Puffer, for example. Michael is also a guide in the program, and he’s launching a charity to help those with brain injuries. Then there’s Darren Davis, another guide, who, along with this sons, created the Global Heroes series to honor those who are going the extra mile for others. So many others who have finished the program and created success in their lives continue to give back, and I am honored to be one of them.

So what does success look like for you? Do you know what you want? Are you living the success formula to get it? The hands-on support, the real-life advice from people who have been there and done that is worth the price of admission (only $1, by the way)!

Success can look like enjoying a black swallowtail’s visit in your garden
