As we enter the final few weeks of the MKMMA 2016 session, it seems only fitting I should devote a couple of my final posts to the two individuals most responsible for getting me here. With a little “copy and paste” magic, I began doing that last week, when my blog featured a post created by Lydia Johnson. Lydia was my personal guide throughout the 2015 six-month program.

This week, I use a bit more of this same magic, and my blog features the Week 23 blog post created by Cassandra (AKA Valeska). Cassandra, a #MKE Master Guide, is the person responsible for my discovery and enrollment in the 2015 MKMMA program.

In terms of square foot verbiage, Cassandra’s Week 23 post differs dramatically from all her earlier creations. Insightful narrative of some length has been replaced by just a few words surrounding two short video clips – short in length maybe, yet long in meaning.

Following Cassandra’s lead, I, too, have gone the route of the video. Consider the two clips I’ve selected as something you might appreciate when searching for a seat in a movie theater. Both clips feature the voice of songbird, Carly Rose Sonenclar. Carly first came to public attention in 2012, when she appeared as a contestant during the second season of X-Factor USA. Although only 13 years old at the time, she finished as a runner-up to a C&W singer, who was clearly over-matched. Just hear what “everyone’s favorite,” Simon Cowel has to say following Carly’s performance of Judy Garland’s “Over the Rainbow.”

this second clip is of more recent vintage. It was recorded and released last year.

Without further ado, take it away, Cassandra!

The keel of your ship of life is one thing, and one thing only.  What is that one thing?  How do you find it? How do you know you have ‘found it’?  Can you live with your choice, your decision, your discovery?  What drives you?1

GREAT!  One thing….. what the heck!  How do we every figure it out?

What do you fear?  THAT is your one thing, your compass, the keel that keeps the ship of your life on course.  Do you dare to look at it? To own it?  To make it your own?
